A potentially saving of 186 tons of CO2 with e-vehicles: That is the amount of greenhouse gas that 18.6 hectares of forest (equivalent to 26 soccer fields) can absorb in one year.* At the same time, it is the intended target that the Brand Group has set for itself by 2030 at the latest, simply by converting its fleet of company vehicles from combustion to e-vehicles accordingly.

The Brand Group, consisting of BRAND and VACUUBRAND in Wertheim and VITLAB in Großostheim, has expanded its range of e-charging points for climate-friendly mobility on the factory premises from 7 to 45. All employees of the Brand Group can charge their e-vehicles free of charge. The power is supplied 100% from renewable sources. At the Wertheim site, for example, the companies obtain natural electricity from certified hydroelectric power plants operated by the municipal utility.

Commenting on the measures, Dr. Christoph Schöler, Managing Partner of the Brand Group, says: "We have committed ourselves to sustainability with the entire group. An important step on this path is the conversion from combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles. In doing so, it is important to us to get our employees excited about the topic and to offer them the benefits of free charging. In addition, a new corporate department for sustainability management has been created with additional personnel resources. In addition to CO2 reduction, we are working on other targets and a variety of individual measures." After all, sustainability is a top priority at the Brand Group in all areas. Not only on the topic of energy and emissions, but also on waste and water management, high-quality products, and a social corporate culture with shared values.
