Diaphragm pumps are ideal for clean processes down to approx. 1 mbar. They run 100 % oil-free and have no abrasive seals that can cause abrasion. Important advantages of VACUUBRAND diaphragm pumps are their unrivaled reliability and long maintenance intervals. They are also available with VARIO control.

VACUUBRAND chemistry diaphragm pumps stand for uncompromising chemical resistance - even when used with aggressive chemicals. To achieve this, we use carefully selected materials. Chemistry diaphragm pumps offer the same advantages as diaphragm pumps for non-corrosive media and are also available with VARIO control.

The VACUU·PURE dry screw pump offers clean ultimate vacuum in the range of 10^_-3 mbar. It combines three important benefits for the user: 100% oil-free, no abrasion, no wear parts. VACUU-PURE is ideal for clean processes that require dry and hydrocarbon-free vacuum. The spindles of the screw pump run contact-free and are thus free of abrasion and wear. This also means that there are no process interruptions due to wear parts or oil changes.

The VACUU·PURE 10C chemistry screw pump combines three important advantages for the pressure range down to 10^-3 mbar: 100% oil-free, chemically resistant, no wear parts. In most cases, you no longer need a cold trap. This means you neither have to change the oil nor refill the cooling medium. Your processes therefore remain uninterrupted and can run overnight without any worries. In addition, VACUU·PURE 10C offers the same advantages as the variant for non-corrosive media.

Our rotary vane pumps are powerful in the 10^-3 mbar range. In contrast to diaphragm and screw pumps, however, they require oil as an operating medium. When pumping aggressive gases or vapors, it is often advisable to use a cold trap with rotary vane pumps.

The unique combination of an oil-sealed rotary vane pump and a chemistry diaphragm pump provides better protection against corrosion than a simple rotary vane pump. The diaphragm pump permanently evacuates the oil reservoir and thus frees it from corrosive vapors and condensates. The intervals for oil changes are thus significantly extended and in some cases you can also avoid using a cold trap.
